Busy Getting the Garden Ready

I've been busy, the weather is finally starting to warm up a bit. We decided on a paint color yesterday and I cannot wait for the rest of it to be finished. I have been getting the garden beds ready and have been puttering around the greenhouse with seeds and starts. I am hoping for this year to bring:

Blueberry Bushes:

Avocado Trees:

Basil:

Cilantro:

Dill:

Marigolds:

and Roma Tomatoes:

That is just to start we will be expanding our beds this year to add another larger one and I haven't hit the nursery yet. Tomato plants do better than starting out from seed but I thought I would try some from seed again this year.

Not Sewing For Myself

I have a much easier time sewing for others than myself. I have been gaining weight steadily for the last 3 or 4 years. I get excited by plenty of patterns, sure! When it comes down to making something and I have to see how much fabric I need...then I get depressed. This winter is a long cold one, even here in the south but I can't keep using that as an excuse. Changes have to be made and hopefully in a few months I can get enthused enough to sew something, anything, for me.
